Shipping, Returns and Exchanges
We ship orders typically 1-3 days after they are received. Candles and Shea are shipped Monday-Wednesday to try ensure that they arrive within 3-4 days.
Duties and Taxes
Orders shipped to countries outside of the US may incur duties and taxes which are applied by customs. The responsibility for any customs duties, foreign taxes or other fees which may be imposed rest with the customer. Because we do not offer refunds, If the customer refuses to pay duties and taxes held on an order applied by customs, they will not receive a refund if their order is returned.

Returns & Exchanges
Currently, we do not accept exchanges or returns, but we may offer a complimentary replacement or a store credit in certain circumstances. If an item arrives damaged in shipping, we will happily process a replacement provided that it is reported within 72 hours of delivery. Please note that vintage or antique items most likely cannot be replaced.
All vintage or antique items are sold AS-IS and cannot be returned or exchanged. A refund may be offered on a case by case basis, if your item arrives damaged.
Candles, Shea and Handmade Beauty Products
Items such as shea butter, candles and other similar products are handmade, so they will have slight variations from batch to batch and some naturally-occurring defects that will have no adverse effect on the performance of the product but may be purely cosmetic.
Please note that shea butter and candle may experience extreme hot or cold climates during shipping and may result in adverse effects, especially during the summer months. Shea Butter has a tendency to melt when exposed to extreme heat. This product is still usable in the melted form.
We try our best to ship these items with ice packs from May-Sept, but we cannot guarantee how they will arrive. Please take this into consideration when placing your order.
The Collective Shop is not responsible for any additional shipping costs incurred for replacements, and we do not assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation of any returned packages lost in transit without proof of delivery.
