Hand wash. Since the handles are unglazed they absorb moisture easily. Therefore, dry well immediately after washing. Do not microwave.

Please note: Japanese pottery sometimes has a technique called "crazing," which intentionally adds hairline cracks to the shiny top coat of the glaze. Crazing is not a defect.
